What is a casino outside Sweden?
A casino outside Sweden is a gambling site whose operating company holds a licence abroad and accepts players from Sweden. It is supervised by the authority in its licensing country, not by Spelinspektionen, Sweden’s gambling regulator. Examples include the Malta Gaming Authority and the Estonian Tax and Customs Board.
Swedish players search using terms such as casino utanför Sverige, utländska casino, utländska casinon and casino utan svensk licens. On this site, these phrases all refer to the same category: casinos licensed abroad that accept Swedish players. You will see these Swedish terms throughout the rest of the site.
Typical differences include bigger welcome packages, more games and more payment routes. The details vary between operators, so compare the licence, bonus conditions and cashier rather than relying on the offer alone.
How do you compare utländska casino?
When comparing utländska casino, start with the licence number in the footer and look it up in the regulator’s register. MGA has a public licence register, while Estonian licences appear in MTR. Our page on how we review, in Swedish, explains the process. Next, check what the wagering requirement applies to: the bonus alone or the deposit plus bonus.
Then confirm that your payment method supports both deposits and withdrawals. Lucky Dreams accepts Jeton for deposits only, while Neteller works both ways. Finally, compare withdrawal limits and timings before focusing on fast withdrawals. Slotshammer allows 100–1 000 € withdrawals through Jeton. Its terms state up to 72 hours after approval, without giving a separate processing time for each method.
Can I pay with Swish or BankID?
We have not found Swish or BankID in the cashiers we checked. Both are Swedish services, so neither appeared among the options in our checks of casino utanför Sverige on 4 November 2026.

Omsättningskrav is Swedish for wagering requirement: how many times you must play through a bonus, or your deposit plus bonus, before withdrawal. Requirements of 25x–40x are common, but the calculation base matters. With a 200 € deposit and a 100 % bonus, 40x on the bonus means 8 000 € in wagers. At 25x on deposit plus bonus, it becomes 10 000 €. The lower multiplier can therefore mean more play.

Do you pay tax on winnings?
It depends on which market the play is aimed at; Skatteverket draws the line. Play aimed at another EEA market is tax free if it does not require a Swedish licence.
Play aimed at Sweden without the required licence, or online play not aimed at any particular EEA market, means 30 % tax on the net win above 100 kr. Any win up to 100 kr is tax free in every case.
